  1. Good to know you're still staying active. I'm sure that's going to play a beneficial role for you during the Bar. Good luck on that and the marathon! Keep pushing ahead and whatever you do, do not give up. Ever.

  2. You'll do great on the bar! I haven't visited here in a while and I saw that you were following the 4 hour body stride counting advice. Can I let you in on something? Do not bother with doing that. While his book is loaded with some incredible things, this unfortunately is one thing that is very bad advice especially for those getting back into shape. If you (or myself) were Olympians that had years of training than I would say otherwise. I could ramble on for days about the science behind it all but here is a site that I occasionally read for fun. www.runblogger.com See if you like it or not. I Hope that you will get back into your training, and not tell yourself that all your past training is lost! You can do it, and you are more capable of doing it than you realize!

  3. Stumbled across your blog after a google search for running blogs... I am a beginner beginner, getting ready for my first 5K in May and needed some motivation...

Saw that you got your JD from USD and I just had to leave a comment to say hello! I attended USD for my undergrad... majored in accounting. Love the videos!

  4. Thanks, everyone! :) I did my first "post-bar" run two days ago. I will be posting about that. It went better than I thought it would. Thank you all for your encouragement as well as the advice! My first half marathon is in 3 days. Gulp. One way or another, I will finish it! They're limiting it to 3.5 hours... I'm pretty sure that I can do that. :)
