I figured that if I paid to enter these runs, I wouldn't want to waste the money, so I would therefore practice... because I'll be damned if I'm going to pay for something and not participate. And I'll be further damned if I'm going to participate without having prepared. I also figured that if the races I chose benefited charities, I would be highly unlikely to skip out on them.
My Scheduled Races
I hate to even call these "races." God knows, I won't be racing. At all. I'll be surviving, I think. Anyhow, I wanted to FORCE myself to run and prepare for running before my big goal: the Rock 'n' Roll marathon in San Diego in June 2011.

02/06/2011: Sun City Half Marathon (to benefit the Free Wheelchair Mission), Huntington Beach
(I had to cancel the above 2 due to studying for the CA bar.) :(

04/02/2011: Warrior Dash Mud Run, Lake Elsinore - check!
04/17/2011: La Jolla Half Marathon, La Jolla - check!
06/04/2010: Rock 'n' Roll Marathon (benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), San Diego!!! I am so sad to report, but I have to cancel my marathon this year. Life circumstances have made it unfeasible. Hopefully, next year I can make it happen.
