  1. You are so silly. You look fantastic!!

Also, don't forget that you are building muscle which weighs more than the same volume flub.

  2. Just came across your blog. Wanted to let you know that I LOVE that you are ACTUALLY an average runner, and I would be THRILLED to get my mile under 12:00!! (my goal for the end of 2010 is to run ONE mile at 10:00 -- and I don't think I'm going to make it... How sad is that, really?). I completed a half marathon in October at an almost 14:00 pace. Plan to do 2 more halfs in 2011, but would love to improve my pace SUBSTANTIALLY each time. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. @ Michael: Thanks, hon! :) And, ok, I "know" that muscle weighs more than fat, but it would still be nice to see that number go down... just a little bit. And I refuse to starve myself because--well--I love food. You're sweet, though, so thank you.

@ Sarah: Can I just tell you how smiley your post made me? Thank you so much! And, you go, girl! :D

  4. I just came across your blog today, and I'm loving it. You're a magnetic personality and a great voice to the sport of running.

At the same time, it's freaking painful to watch how focused you are on metrics. 12 minutes this, your weight is that... I did the same a few years ago, but when I threw away my watch and scale (I literally did both) I went from suffering through a 10K to a loving every second of a 100-miler in about a 2 year span.

By the way, why are you worried about weight? You look awesome. I hope this comment doesn't come across negative, I'm rooting for you and will be following closely.
